  Don’t know what happened, after reading the other reviews.
  EXTREMELY POOR CARE OF PATIENT
  My father was accepted into rehab program directly from Jupiter Medical Center. He had back surgery and needed some physical therapy to regain his strength before he went home. The stay was just more than two weeks and we had to bring him home for his safety and well-being. The first two days were ok, after that care was poor. We had to bring in our own aides to assist and advocate care for my father.
  LITTLE TO NO INVOLVEMENT OF NURSING AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF
  I asked to be included in patient care meetings, never was called to be notified. Called after a week to find out his goals and status, got a "canned reply". After questioning it was obvious that professional staff had no idea of his history and no set goals for return to home. Phone calls to the nursing station to inquire about health issues were not returned.
  BORDERLINE NEGLECT
  The final straw was when our caregiver, dressed my father in sweat clothes for bed, and the next day when they came in he had only a hospital gown no blanket, only a sheet, no pillow case, he was shivering, one hearing aide was under the bed with his glasses and one was on his bedside table. Funny thing was I was notified the day before, again by our caregiver, he was sick with chest congestion and needed an x-ray.
  We just wheeled him out of the facility and brought him home.
  I did call the Administrator and told him what we did so our caregiver did not get into any trouble. The Administrator asked what he could do, I asked that the aide who did not give my father a blanket be reprimanded and that he call me back to let me know was done about it. Am I surprised that I have not been called back? No
  RECOMMENDATIONS:
  If that is the only nursing home that is available, strongly consider hiring your own aide 24/7 Be supportive of the person who in staying there. Don’t assume the staff is correct/true in their responses; ask questions, look, if something is wrong, act.

  MY father went there for rehab, they are simply the least caring crew of employees I have ever witnessed! They couldn't be bothered with anything. Zero accountability or attention to detail. Just sad...
